ABOUT BMX JETT

BMX JETT (Junior Elite Training Team) is a new BMX training team and platform that encourages all upcoming talent from Boys/Girls 15/16, Junior and Elite riders to step up their training level.

BMX JETT offers organized training camps for ambitious riders, under guidance of experienced trainers. This will give riders a new approach to training which will turn into better results in races.

BMX JETT is determined to get skilled riders that are eager to learn more to reach their full potential. By doing so, the overall level of BMX racing will rise and will create more opportunities for riders.

BMX JETT is a professional BMX racing team consisting of six talented riders: Twan van Dorp, Sep Korff, Lars van Vliet, Roy Kater, Elwin Remmerts and Tyler Klumper. The team was founded with the aim of training and guiding the best BMX racers in the Netherlands to national and international successes.

The team is led by Jelle van Gorkom, who won a silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Van Gorkom has years of experience as a BMX racer and knows better than anyone how important it is to invest in the development of young talents. He played an important role in setting up BMX JETT and was responsible for the training and coaching of the riders.

As team manager, Norman Kater is responsible for the day-to-day management of BMX JETT. He has a lot of experience as a team manager in different teams and knows what it takes to run a successful team. Kater ensures that the riders can fully concentrate on their sporting achievements, while he deals with matters such as logistics, sponsorship and public relations.

The six riders of BMX JETT are all talented BMX racers with a lot of potential. Twan van Dorp is one of the youngest riders in the team, but he already has several national races to his name and he is seen as one of the greatest talents in the Netherlands. Sep Korff is an experienced BMX racer who has already won several national titles and he is again seen as one of the contenders for the Dutch title.

Lars van Vliet is a technically very good BMX racer who is known for his excellent steering skills. Roy Kater is an all-round BMX racer who performs well on a technical level as well as on power and speed. Elwin Remmerts is a powerful BMX racer with a strong start and an impressive sprint. Tyler Klumper is a BMX racer from South Africa with a lot of potential and he has already shown that he can compete well at the highest level.

BMX JETT is an ambitious team that strives to guide the best BMX racers in the Netherlands. The team trains at various locations in the Netherlands and uses modern training facilities and coaching techniques. The team already has several national titles to its name and has also achieved several successes internationally. With the support of Jelle van Gorkom and Norman Kater and with six talented riders in the team, BMX JETT is a team to keep an eye on.

To emphasize the quality, development and guidance of our new riders we proudly announce our collaboration agreement with Jelle van Gorkum and Gerfred Greveling.

Jelle van Gorkom has practised the sport at the highest level for over 20 years, culminating in a silver medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Jelle will be head coach for BMX JETT from January 2022 and is hereby making his first steps as a coach and trainer of a BMX-team. He will be training our riders daily, coaching them at races and is responsible for the annual program.

As a Sports Physiotherapist, Gerfred Greveling has assisted and supported athletes on behalf of various national sports associations at National Championships, European Championships, World Cups and Olympic Games. Gerfred and his team at Careworkx will guide our riders with their expertise in their sporting development.
